No other veterans organization is embedded in your community. The VFW is.
Posts don’t show up for veterans. They stay.
VFW posts run programs, organize community service, support deployed units, mobilize for disasters, and advocate for veterans. Not when called upon, but continuously, in the neighborhoods where members live.
- Host VFW scholarship and civic programs
- Coordinate food drives, home repair, cleanup events, and blood drives
- Support 3,700+ adopted military units since 2007
- Mobilize locally for disaster response
- Connect veterans to benefits and representation
5,600+ Posts Worldwide
The VFW post network spans 5,600+ posts worldwide — the most extensive veteran service infrastructure in the country. The VFW Foundation funds the training and infrastructure that keep those posts operational. A veteran filing a successful benefits claim, a family receiving emergency assistance: that is the Foundation's work made visible.
In 2025, Day of Service produced 2,300+ community service events globally, including 42 international events, one of the largest single-day veteran service mobilizations in the country.
For corporate supporters, this is the activation engine.
No other relationship puts your brand inside communities at this scale. Employee volunteer events, point-of-sale touchpoints, in-store activations, and grassroots visibility in every post area.
